Component mirroring bug

I'm trying to mirror a component as you can see in the video, but when I hit OK, the original component "fall alart".
I also shared the model online with my friends, and if I save it and check the online version, the original component is as I designed but the mirrored component "fell apart".

I tried to save that component as separate project and mirror there, without success.

Any solution for this problem?

I only tried this in the latest version (2.0.6231), so I don't know if it also happened in earlier versions or not.

Some of the forum users may not be your "Friend" but if you share it with the forum, you will probably get a better and quicker answer. There is a lot of talent looking at these posts, so share it and give them a chance.

All you have to do Break the Link to the sub-files BEFORE you do the mirror. Not sure if I can give you a solid answer for this but I have found that linked components do not update well using certain commands, mirror being one of them. I love using linked components since they can be use easily in any number of assemblies and sub-assemblies but sometimes they just do not cooperated. See screencast.

By the way I notice, at least in these models, you are not using the timeline. I think you will enjoy Fusion 350 a lot more if you do use it.

Thank you so much. So it's better if I break the link when I finished everything and I don't need more modification on these components.

I don't remember now why I needed to switch to direct modelling earlier but I'll check the advantages of parametric modelling.

Thanks for your help. 1,5 year have passed since your post, but looks like the problem is still not fixed.

I had 2 linked components. If I tried to mirror them in one operation, one would always dissappear. The only solution was to mirror each one separately.

Breaking the link solves the problem.
