Projected geometry can be moved if the link is either broken or not created in the first place. Can you attach you model so others can take a look.

Hi

I created a sketch by projecting from another component, then created a construction plane some distance above the first sketch plane. I created a sketch on that plane but the origin does not line up with the first sketch. Can I move the origin of a sketch?

ROb

@untrustedone - unfortunately, there is no way to change a sketch origin today. There is the Redefine Sketch command, but that doesn't seem to always move the sketch origin. I suspect what happened is that you created your offset plane from one of the sketch profiles. This results in a plane whose origin is based on the sketch profile selected. If, instead, you had created the offset from the plane (e.g. origin plane) that the first sketch is based on, the origins will be aligned.

However, you can project the origin of the first sketch into the second, and change some constraints to snap to that point instead of the sketch origin.
