modeled check box missing when 3d printing threads?

After the newest update the modeled check box is missing. How do you 3d print threads now?

Can you record a screencast or upload a screenshot showing what you see in that dialog? What are you computer specs?

@hansen644 , I'm pretty sure that the only place that Fusion ever had a "modeled" checkbox is on the Hole or Thread command:

There is also the global setting for cosmetic vs modeled in Document settings:

But, I'm pretty sure that the 3D Print dialog never had a "modeled" checkbox. I could be wrong, of course, but I asked around here, and others also don't believe that this command ever had such a setting.

Sorry but it did have one before the update. I can no longer 3d print screws now. Please see the first three minutes of this you tube video so you get an idea of what button I mean. thanks Pic attached also.

What's shown in the youtube video is editing the thread feature, the option is not on the Make dialog. The option to have modeled threads is still on the thread dialog, see below. If you don't see this when you edit a thread feature can you attach a screengrab of the dialog when you edit the thread.

Hi the modeled feature is missing in my edit box. see first pic. Not sure what you mean by using screengrab to fix it?

Before printing you must model the geometry that you wish to print.

The geometry must be in the model.

HI I am just trying to print anything with a screw thread using the thread tool in fusion 360. I had no problems before the update. so no model to upload, just anything with threads

You must have missed my prior instruction. Forget printing for 5 minutes. Forget it!

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here (can be as simple as a cylinder or a box with a hole) and end all doubt.

In Post #5 - you included image of part on your machine.

Attach that *.f3d file here.

You will have your solution in far less than 5 minutes.

Go and look at you picture in post 5, the dialog is the Make dialog not the thread dialog. So either export your file and attach or show us a picture of the thread dialog.

Having just reviewed the tutorial video you mentioned, at no point does he select modelled when creating threads. I refer you to index 3.00 for example (although there are others), the checkbox you are looking for is clearly visible in his thread creation dialog, although he leaves it unchecked. Therefore following his example will result in no threads being modelled in that design.

In your screenshot you show a 3D printing dialog which has no 'model thread' checkbox. Are you saying an option to model threads used to exist in the 3D printing dialog?

In either case, as far as I am aware. modelling threads only exists in the thread creating feature, such as Hole or Thread.
