Thanks for posting, @stefanrauscher, and welcome to the Fusion community!

In addition to @g-andresen 's suggestion, you could also consider creating each component as its own document, which can be configured and inserted into an assembly as many times as you need (creating a distributed design).

This way, you'd be able to right-click and use Switch Configuration on any configured component in the assembly. You could even create a configurable assembly at this point, by configuring the Insert feature for each of the inserted components, and select different configurations for it in the table.

If you have a specific project or example you're working with, feel free to post it (or a screenshot or two if you don't want to share the design here), and it could help us guide you more specifically.

I would like to apply different configurations from the configuration table to different components (each consisting of copies of a body). Unfortunately, if I try to select just one component and change the configuration for it, the configurations of the other components are always changed as well. This setting already appears under Document Settings and unfortunately I cannot delete this parent setting.
Thank you very much for your tips!

Hi,

Copied components are always linked to their original instance, whether as a single copy or in component patterns.
Only if you create a copy via paste new is this independent.
