topic How do you specify material in DRAWING mode of Fusion 360 in Fusion Support Forum

I have created a model in DESIGN mode and even applied some textures however when I translate this to a shop drawing in DRAWING mode I can not call out the disparate materials. So instead of a bunch of diagonal lines I want to be able to do cross-hatching or dots or something to which I can apply a key and easily highlight the different materials.

Hey STEFAN.RURAK57,

What you're looking for is Physical Material. Right-Click on any component and click on "Physical Material" in that list, you'll get a dialog that lets you assign materials, similar to that of Appearance. In your drawing, you can use bubbles to call out the parts, and Material is one of the categories you can use in the corresponding table.
