I have the same exact issue but on Apple silicon and latest MacOS 15 developer beta:

If I switch the camera setting from "Perspective with ortho faces" to either of the others the issue goes away. If I switch back to "Perspective with ortho faces" the issue persists.

No need to thank me I post bugs to improve my own experience. Now that Autodesk has all the information they need will this end up like all the other bugs that just get added to the backlog and don't get half fixed for 1 to 7+ years? I mean there's still issues with blue highlights which at this point is a year old. Only got mostly fixed 8 months ago and update after update it's still an issue. But people don't post about it much so I'm assuming that's considered a job well done.

I'm currently typing this while Fusion's browser is glued on top of Chrome. When launching Mission Control Fusion gets treated as 2 or 3 different programs making the whole point of Mission Control kinda pointless.

The truth is not that people find this well done, it's that talking about these bugs and reporting them is extremely time-consuming and that you can quickly spend more time there than on your own work. This is the perverse effect of this forum. and I'm not talking about requests for improvements, and the "fusion idea"

One way to have more influence, direct problem reporting, and a sneak peek at the upcoming releases is to join the Fusion Insider program. https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/fusion-360/insider-program

Another way is to file a customer support ticket. These are often converted into bug reports and tracked closely: https://www.autodesk.com/support/contact-support

I've already made several customer support tickets and I've spent a lot of time on the phone with support and I've never had any feedback for bugs or improvements. It's a waste of time.

I suspect Autodesk only listens to their profitable customers, regardless of the relevance of the comments.

The insider program, what is the point? We've been asking for a darkmode for over 5 years! What is not understandable in this request? Why do you have to be part of a group for this request to be taken into account, especially since we had already asked for it in Fusion Idea?

Just one more thing to consider. Dark mode is not easy to implement in Fusion. We know users want it. We want to add it for users, but when there are technical hurdles and limited development resources, things might not happen so fast. The time to fix something is not relative to desire to fix it, more relative to ability to fix it. Why assume we callously ignore requests? I don't think you can say on one hand Fusion development callously ignores some requests and constantly fixes bugs and adds requested features on the other hand.

thank you for your opinion. However, it doesn't make me want to stay. Each time I mentioned requests for UI improvements, I was told how to do without them rather than developing what I would like.

I am well aware of the organizational and budgetary problems that software development can represent, but it is not a good thing for the client to know that you, Autodesk, are not capable of structuring yourself accordingly to provide a fast and reliable response to user requests.

Just for understanding each other, some statistics. Regarding product updates, we do our best to keep up with both feature requests (aka improvements) or bugs reported by customers. We also are currently looking for ways to help customers know when the things they take time to report get fixed or added to the product.

So, in the last 6 months Fusion releases have included:

77 forum reported bug fixes and improvements implemented
92 product support reported bug fixes and improvements implemented
Most, but probably not all, mentioned in the What's New for each release.

What would it look like for Fusion to be successful "to provide a fast and reliable response to user requests."? I'm asking so I can pass this on to the people who have tried very hard to provide the aforementioned improvements, and bug fixes, and also improve communication about customer reported fixes and improvements. (that's why we mention them in the what's new). What else could we be doing for you? Is it as simple as fixing every single bug you report before the next Fusion update? Please let us know how we could communicate this better.

Very happy that some customers have been able to see daily life evolve thanks to these numerous fixes and improvements. Unfortunately, I am not one of those, and I naturally cannot be satisfied with anything other than the happiness of others, I hope you will agree.

I'm too busy to organise or proofread any of this but those numbers are kinda meaningless without putting them into perspective and I'm not really sure what counts as a "fix" verses an "improvement". I'd just like to go more than 5 minutes without a BBOD. Or a BBOD that goes away and then it's the little BMW loading icon and then it goes back to a BBOD. It's just like half the time when I click on something I need to wait for Fusion to catch up.

I'll click on a toolpath and the program hangs half a second. Then I'll hit the "enter" key and it doesn't close out of the dialogue box like it should. I'll copy a toolpath and paste it but 5% of the time it just never pastes. I'll copy/paste 3 times in a row and it won't paste sometimes. Sometimes when panning my camera Fusion will randomly just pan it the opposite direction. Or I'll post a program and it'll say it posted but there's nothing on my flash drive... I'll click in a text field and sometimes it'll put the cursor right where I clicked like every other program. Other times it'll highlight the text in blue even though I didn't double click. Or sometimes grey:

How about when you try deleting appearances but it says that some can't be deleted because they're applied to a material but then you.... reopen the appearances dialogue and they're just gone lol. And then you open it again and there's just 5 duplicates that you can't delete? And then you open it again and the thumbnails don't load or some thumbnails are just a little smaller than the others or something.

I can click on a face I want to select and Fusion will select a component [but I can't find it in the browser because often bodies/components don't gets underlined/highlighted blue]

In a stock setup type an expression like "1-2" but don't tell it what units to use. I've set my active units to inches so why does fusion treat the second value as metric?

Selecting anything is impossible. If my mouse cursor is over an edge and I click the LMB select that edge. Not a component that's a full mouse cursor away. Yes a full mouse cursor away. I have edge priority turned on. The component that gets selected isn't just inactive AND has visibility turned off in the browser but if it was visible there's another component in front of it. That's like 4 layers of "this thing should definitely not get selected" and yet that happens sometimes. It's a struggle fest to zoom in on EVERYTHING I want to select and then zoom out so Fusion doesn't get confused and select something I obviously don't want to.

Try opening an old version of a design without the data panel refreshing 3 times making you start all over again each time.

If I turn anti aliasing off it's because I want it off. Stop turning settings on that I turned off.

Fusion probably crashes twice a day. Every day. That's unacceptable. I really don't do anything that complex.

Is there any point in using the "feed optimization" feature to slow a tool down in a corner?

This is all like 1% of the bugs/poor performance I experience all day every day.

I've ran Fusion on 3 separate expensive macbook pros and completely wiped 2 of them. 0 issues with any other program.

I think it's a huge oversight that the ribbon has icons apart of some microtransatian extension that you can't remove. But fine whatever. I say you "can't remove" them. The user isn't supposed to. But you actually can if you just click and drag one. There should be two icons in the "configure" section but I did the impossible and removed one:
