Just to explain

If you can look at the left top coolant tray component you will see the front 6 holes they have been created using a sketch, you will then have to unfold into a flat pattern so you can see i created 6 more holes on the back.

On the right top coolant tray all the holes were made on the flat pattern

Hello

The system i am using is an Apple iMac, I have found what i presume is an issue or a misunderstanding on my part i will explain.

I have created a sheet metal part and wanted to put some holes into it so i unfolded the design to make a flat pattern I placed the holes and refolded the design and they disappear and can only be seen on the unfolded flat pattern.

The only way i can make the holes that can be seen is on the folded metal part is to create a sketch and make holes that way.

Please explain

Mike

Hi,

I just tested it. I cannot confirm your observation, even for a hole in the bend line.

Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d locally > attach it to the next post.

günther

You should use unfold to add the holes not flat pattern.

You've added holes in the flat pattern, they will not be added to the bent part. You should not edit or add holes to the flat pattern, if you want to add holes in a flat state use unfold from the modify.
