I am having terrible problems with fusion freezing up while working on a sketch. I'm doing something pretty simple, trying to create a rough model of our suspended ceiling. But I can't even get a basic sketch completed. I have created a simple sketch of a 2x4' tile (basically a 2x4 box with a second box inside it inset by .25in) Then made a rectangular pattern to fill a 52' square area (26x13 tiles). I successfully used this to create some bodies representative of where the light fixtures are. Then I went back to add lines representing the walls to the sketch and immediately started having crashes. All I have to do is edit the sketch and try to draw a line left-to-right across the width of the top row of tiles. I draw it all the way across and let go, the dimensions are showing but now fusion is frozen and unresponsive. I tried letting it sit a while (minutes) but it never comes back.

It isn't just this sketch either, I have tried doing it several ways such as drawing a 52' box and filling it in with full-width lines to make the grid, but it still freezes on me at some point. I haven't used Fusion in about 6 months, but I never had problems with it like this.

I wanted to include the model, but when I try to export it nothing happens. The window goes grey and none of the buttons or menus respond when clicked (but the close box works). I did include the diagnostic log.

Remove the sketch pattern and replace with model pattern. Every line you add, trim, change, Fusion sets off to find all the constraints that new article interacts with.

One tile body - patterned. When done along those lines, Fusion may come back to life.

One sketch per job, also helps.

Might help....
