VS Code Not Opening When Calling Edit from the Scripts and Add-Ins Dialog

VS Code is not opening and linking when selecting edit from the scripts and add-ins dialog.

Both macOS(Catalina) and Windows10 are behaving the same way.

Downgrade the Python extension and restart both VS Code and Fusion and it all links back up.
