So pretty much make the whole bottom part of the casing from a T-spline box and create the indentations and sloped corner that way?

Hi, I'm having issues trying to match the edges of a T-spline that I've created to the edges of another body in my design. Basically I'm trying to make a kind of more extreme version of a fillet that slopes away from the main body but is joined, if that makes any sense!

I've pasted a screencast url below to show how far I've got with this.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Please share your model in form of the public link to it from the data panel.

Thanks. That isn't going to work and is not he right modeling technique to create those features. This can be done fairly easily with surfacing methods.

That is if I can actual decipher what you want to do at that corner 😉

Ah OK.

Basically the design is for a hand held multimeter. The body you can see is the bottom half of the casing and that corner is going to be profiled so that it fits comfortably against the edge of the palm.

Yes, I'd gathered that much. This is the second multimeter case with the second person trying to use T-Splines when that makes no sense.

Where did you see that technique used ?

In this case, If you wanted a rectangular gate with rounded corners and smooth indentations for the finger, you could model the whole thing in the T-Spline environment as shown on the left.

Before attempting that you should probably go through one of the courses on in the Learn & Support section of this forum

Your timeline indicates that you should complete one of the courses in the Learn & Support section on the forum before doing anything else.

I can show in a screencast later how I would do this with a T-Spline.
