Lathe linking problem

I'm having a problem with a id job on the lathe side. Its in the linking tab on the x clearance. I am posting a screen shot. I don't understand this problem enough to explain anymore. I just know it does not make a difference what value I put in the x box it doesn't fix the error. Where am I going off the rails ?.

If you hover the mouse pointer over the error you will get an explanation of the problem. The X clearance need to be less than the depth of cut, you can ignore the warning but you'll get air cutting.
