Thanks for your input, however having tried something like that before, I'm not sure it would be suitable for what I'm trying to achieve.
In this context, on one side there's a 92mm computer fan, on the other 4 hard drives that need cooling. Previous experiments have shown that the 'outer' drives would be cooled less (they graph as warmer), as they see less of the fan - there's also the centre hub to take into account - hence the starting with quadrants and wanting to create equal-volume sweeping lofts to the rectangular openings.
I know I can physically draw the things out and make at least mock-ups, but I was hoping to utilise the 'power' of fusion360 to make this process easier.
I remembered yesterday that I actually have a friend who designs engines, so I'll see if they have any ideas about the industrial-design aspects and what they use for modelling airflows.

Thanks again,

Sean

I have two objects I'm trying to create lofts between and giving me a bit of a headache.
There are 4 quadrants going to 4 slots, each of which should be separate, but probably a bit curved around each other.

It's basically meant to be from a computer fan to a set of 4 enclosures for airflow.

Logically, it seems like it should be simple - create the outside, then the inside with a 1-1 relationship between the two sides and somehow they don't intersect. But for some reason, they all want to connect themselves together?..
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks,

Sean

Wont work with quarters of the circle like that,

Divide the circle into equal sized profiles, and it will do it.

Might help....

I did think of that, but the idea of the quadrants was so that each got an equal amount of airflow.
Although it has given me an idea...
If I transform the shape in stages, that might work.

I divided the circle side profiles to be equal. Division walls are constant thickness.
