The plot thickens with more UI bugs on mac... See the enclosed photo. This has been confirmed on two machines. One running MacOS 10.13.x and another with MacOS 10.15.x

The Navigation Bar trumps the Mac OS Dock.

I have never seen any app do this since OS X debuted in 2001.

I wouldn't call them "issues", more like "anomalies." Occasionally, when switching tasks on Windows 10, and particularly if I'm changing modes (e.g. closing a sketch), then I may see the browser, comment or sketch assist bar sitting in the Windows interface. The windows/bars are typically ephemeral and don't really cause use issues.

The Navigation palette z-order issue started happening with the software release from this week.

I honestly don't know how the dev team is prioritizing development. One thing is clear; none of the UX bugs I have reported in over two years have been fixed.

I have one request to your team: please stop adding new application features, and focus these core UX bugs. They cripple your product.

I find it odd very odd there are at least three major UI bugs all relating to the same screen region:

1) Complete unresponsive UI when switching to another app and back to F360 again. Roll cursor over timeline and the entire app UI becomes "unstuck"

2) The timeline marker disappears suddenly in the parametric history. Only way to get it back is by re-opening the design.

3) And now, the Navigation palette trumps the Mac OS Dock. Again, I've never seen any Mac application do whatsoever.

I've worked in UX innovation for over 25 years, and I've never seen such a product situation. Maybe Autodesk should acquire my skills. I'm not kidding.

Sincerely,

Noel Rubin .oO(http:teknoel.com)

I know this is a long-dormant thread, but I did notice a cause/effect for many UI bugs for me. Using macOS Mission Control and virtual desktops feature seems to confuse Fusion360. I typically have 3 virtual desktops setup and "swipe" right/left between them. Anytime I'm "missing" a UI component, I usually find it displaying on another of the desktops.

Assigning the app to a desktop different than where it was launched seems to be the trigger. If I quit, relaunch in 1 desktop and keep it there, I don't seem to reproduce the problems.

I have seen the same behavior. Mission Control messes the Fusion360 Browser Z order up.
