Just received a notification, it disappeared quickly but the was something along the lines of the software will force you to install windows11 or you will loose access to using fusion360. How can they do this? why are tech companies so predatory and abusive towards its clients. forcing me to install an operating system I absolutely dont want to have. Or did I read it incorrectly?

Microsoft is ending mainstream support for Windows 10 on October 14. See this support article for more details about what that means for Fusion after that date: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fusion-Announcing-End-of-Support-for-Windows-10.html

Two big points:

When you receive a notification toast, and you dismiss it or allow it to fade away, it automatically goes to the Notification Center, which is accessed from the bell icon near the notification toast in the top-right of the application. Here you can read and take action on any notification you have recently received.

The software isn't forcing anything. But when it comes to designing and testing Fusion after October, Windows 10 will no longer be tested internally by the Fusion product team, and product support is not guaranteed for that platform. On paper this sounds like no product support - in practice it means we will need to be able to reproduce bugs on our own newer, supported platforms in order to prioritize fixing them. Put differently: If you find a bug on Windows 10, and it later happens on Windows 11 - that's not a Windows 10-specific bug.

And for any Mac users reading, the same principle applies: Apple cuts support for its oldest OS annually, but just because you still run Fusion on macOS 12 or forced an unofficial upgrade doesn't mean we don't want to know about your experience. But it will really help your case if you take time to confirm the issue also happens on a supported platform, too.
