After whipping the C: drive and re-installing Win10 Pro from scratch and fully patching the issue persisted. After a lot of research and trial & error, I downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver for the Quadro K4200, rebooted and Fusion installed without any issues and is now working.

Thanks for your efforts,

R,

Kenny

Can you please try the below?

1. Make sure that Fusion installer is not running in task manager
2. Go to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ Autodesk\DELETE the following folders – Webdeploy,Web Services, Identity services, Autodesk Fusion 360
3. Download the installer again
4. Now install again

I had basically already tried your suggestions prior to posting my issue here. That said I followed the instructions you provided with the same results. After numerous attempts with reboots in between and getting the same result, I tried installing on a different computer and it's failing in the exact same manner on that PC too. The second PC has an older processor but has 64GB of RAM. I'm starting to think there's a problem with the distribution servers, or the installer is corrupt.
