You can export individual components directly from the browser tree in Fusion 360 ... but not bodies.

More export options in the preferences incl. a user-definable default format would indeed be nice.

But I've not seen this come up often, to be honest.

Don't know about you, but exporting models so they can be provided to third party for review, reproduction etc. is part of my design cycle. This should be a brainless, simple and efficient activity. But it seems to me that the only brainless part of F360's export is the export dialog itself.

Everytime it defaults back to export to F360 native format. Everytime I have to set only 1 body visible prior to export so only _that one body_ is exported. Everytime I export, F360 clicks up the version indicator. There are so many clicks and selections involved, I seem unable to do this without making mistakes. This process is a total stinker.

I want to see an export process that can be set up as part of the configuration of the design so that I can export to multiple formats with known names and selected included bodies. If that is too much to do, at least give us an export dialog _in which_ I can select bodies to include and one that remembers my last selected format as well as export folder.

Is this too much to ask? Nobody but me ever exports stuff?
