topic Simulation - Structural Load - Angle Reference in Fusion Support Forum

I'm trying to apply a structural load, it has an angle 45 degrees respect to Y axis. But nothing is selectable about Origin as a reference.

Simulation Workspace > Structural Load >Direction Type: Angle > Reference

Axis or planes are not selectable but I think it should be. I can only give reference to solid's face or edge.

Re: Simulation - Structural Load - Angle Reference

It looks like we have a limitation in the Reference Selection. It's only allowing selection of faces, edges, or vertices on Bodies, not Origin or Construction geometry. I'll see if this is something that can be fixed in the future.

For now you will need to use the Vectors option in the Structural Load command and break the force up into vector components to obtain the desired angle.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
