topic Feature request: Export to IFC in Fusion Support Forum

We design and build furniture projects using fusion 360.

When interacting with architects, they request more and more the IFC format for 'interopability' and integration testings. (Bim products and Solibri) As IFC is really an interoperability and exchange format, this is understandable.

Taking into account the cloud native nature of Autodesk Fusion, and the fact that a lot of Autodesk products (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ... ) handle IFC file, it should be perfectly doable do the export/translation step on the Servers with an async job, like a lot of conversions are already being handled.

Solidworks does it natively ...

This should be native as well , Autodesk have Revit , so the knowledge is there.
Maybe simple IFC information, would sufice . Like Class, Volume, Areas , etc.

Plus one for export from Fusion to .rvt and .ifc.
Why is this not a part of F360? The company I design for do not have Revit software. We work in the construction industry and coordinating with BIM is essential.

Is direct export to .rvt and .ifc on the Fusion roadmap? It would be extremely useful to add this to the software.

Thanks.
