Put a rod in the center of a hole

Beginner here and I'm having an issue.

I have two components. One is a 32mm pipe. The other a rod.

The pipe has a hole from the sides that is 9,5mm and the rod is 9mm.

I want to place the rod in the center of the hole but I can't figure out how to do it. I created an axle for the rod but the only place I can connect it in the pipe.

Take a look at the Screencast. You can use either the origin plane of the pipe, the same construction plane you used for the pipe hole to sketch on. You will need a sketch point on that plane to add your joint to.

Thanks for the help. Really new at this but starting to get it somewhat. I'm still struggling with small seemingly simple things that stops me which is pretty annoying.

When I share the file I can "Share Public Link". I only have to check "Allow item to be downloaded" and you're all good?

You are correct. If all your components are in one assembly, not linked (no paperclips in browser), then you also can open your model, go to File ->Export, place it in a local folder. Then when you post your message, just attach it to your post using the Attachments section , located a short ways below the Details, where you type you message.
