Hi Günther,

Thank you for your response. I have set the Line Width Group for Thick. Now the drawing looks much better but when I set the value differently (for example to Very Thin) the new value will be applied automatically to everything (contours, dim. lines, center marks, hatches). What is the correct procedure in order to assign a respective line width separately to dimensions lines, centerlines, contours, hatches? Just to select the object and then to change the thickness? In terms of line types, I have created an additional centerline for 4 threads M5. The threads are located on the diameter 45mm, but the dimension line of the new centerline has a value of 90mm. The scale of the model is 2:1. In this case the value of 90mm has to be changed manually to 45mm, which creates a space for errors. Is it possible to bypass this problem by different way? Best regards, Miroslav

Hi there,

Could you please tell me how to set different types of lines (in terms of thickness and style) in the following 2D drawing ( https://a360.co/3dNJQ6B )? The file is downloadable. For example, I would like to use thick lines for contours, thinner for dimensions lines, the thinnest for hatches, etc. Also if I wanted to draw the additional center lines (an axis of the shaft, circle, etc.) manually through the Create Sketch mode I could not find a dashed thin line with dots. Do I have first to create these various lines manually or are they downloadable? Best regards, Miroslav

Hi,

look at the Document Settings in the Browser tree of the Drawing Environment.

You‘ll find settings for lines and linegroups.

günther
