Switching from education license to personal user

What will be the difficulty in switching to personal use with an education license? Well, if I buy personal use, will I have to renew it every year? Will my data and achievements be saved in the hub?

Well, I think you can apply for 1 year free personal use after this period. Not sure but, I think so.

I tried to do the switch, but it doesn't work. I can not get a personal license and it still shows "education license" after multiple deinstall - download personal version - reinstall 😞

My edu license just expired, still using it as a hobbyist for the odd project, did you get this sorted?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but im trying to get a hobby/personal license, and fusion says i was on education use. how did you get it changed?

Hi,

Wait until the EDU license expires and also the subsequent trial phase of the full license.
Only when the message License expired appears, you can complete this step.

Hey I am facing the same issue - I only want to use it for personal use and now it seems like I have an educational one.... If I delete my account it takes 45 days.
Can somebody help me to switch to personal use? If I start the fusion 360 software its written for personal use and if I log in they force me to start Teams and invite all my teammates with the same mail address...
Any ideas? trying to fix this since 2 days

I am having the same issue. My educational license expired and I need to keep using fusion360 for personal use but I can't get a personal/ hobbyist license. No mater what I do it just tells me that my educational license has expired and only give me the option to upload college documents to reapply. I have 6 years worth of files on here and now I'm dead.

Maybe in the future Avtodesk will be made easier with a single-user license? Without requiring educational institutions.

I am having the exact same problem. Education Plan license expired and now cannot move to personal use, professional use, or free trial. I have tried contacting support but since my current expired license is "Education Plan" support is not available to me, even if I want to purchase a full professional license. How did someone think this support model was a good idea?

same situaltion here stuck on educationa license and cant get it to a personal one no matter what i try, and support only directs me to the "get the personal license" page that i have followed several times with no luck.
