The .f3d file is outdated. I would have to remove a component to save as a .f3d file, but I am assuming an .f3z file is suitable.

The components Rubber foam, Honeycomb plate and Frame S-plate are subcomponents of Frame Supermodule.

The problem is that Rubber foam and Honeycomb plate are not aligned with FEM_FEBS_HPK_SMD:1 and FEM_FEBS_HPK_SMD:4. That is illustrated by the overlap of the former 2 with Frame S-plate.

The cause is that the modules FEM_FEBS_HPK_SMD were originally wrongly positioned when I made the sketch on which to base Rubber foam and Honeycomb plate. Then I moved the the modules in the correct position. However, the sketch failed to adapt.

I am unclear what sort of attachable example you expect. I have solved similar problems in this module by starting over. For example Pins cooler-PCB inside cooling_rod_with_fasteners was deleted and recreated because the previous version of the component found itself in the timeline before the sketch it was based on. I have already asked in a different thread about how to move sketches in the timeline (forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/how-to-move-sketch-to-the-future-in-timeline/m-p/9617870), but have received no answer.

Dear forum members,

I experience errors in a design that I know good way of correcting.

There is a thing A, e.g. a sketch, that is dependent (referring to) a thing B, e.g. a body, that is modified in the timeline after A.

IN TIMELINE : A < change(B)

A is ignoring that modification and therefore wrong. From A future B cannot be referenced. The chronology of A and B's modification cannot be corrected for no apparrent reason.

I know only of two ways to solve that problem :

1) Correct A manually : observe the modifications that were made to B, derive how that should affect A and modify A manually.

2) Delete either A or B's modification and remake it from scratch at the correct time.

I find both solutions unsatisfactory. So far I have been using 2) and feel I am wasting my time doing things more than once.

Is there a better way of correcting such errors ? Is there a good way to avoid such errors ?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Also Attach example of your current work-around “solution”.
