I've read all of the posts about having constraints, particularly around the origin. I have clicked on every single piece of the sketch, including the origin, but don't see any. As an aside, why is it so hard to see all the constraints?

I created a screencast and have included my sketch. It shouldn't be so hard to do something this basic...

Thanks!

Clearly, there's something preventing it, because if I start over and avoid 0,0,0, I can move it. 😞

Green Sketch lines are fixed. Use Fix / Unfix to revert back to blue lines.

White points are standalone,

two white points connected will disappear.

Not watched the screencast yet, but opened the file.

Thanks!

I have turned them all back to blue. I still can't move the sketch. As I said, If I re-build it away from the origin, it works fine. So it's really frustrating, but not a showstopper.

Also, green is an odd choice for locked. Red would be more obvious.

Got to the screencast, Window Select the Origin,

Origin is not able to move, it you continue to select it, it will continue to prevent the move.

Thanks! The frustrating thing is that, if I trim something, Fusion happily discards that constraint. If I build my sketch anywhere else, I don't run into an issue. But if I build it at 0, 0--which makes logical sense--then I run into this issue.

A more useful user experience would be for the program to throw out a dialog asking if I'm sure, and if I say yes, moving it. Instead, it lets me go through all the motions, appears to let me move the arrows, then does nothing.

What can I say, if you are attaching to the origin, why do you want to move it later.

Surely you put it where it is going to be, first time.

For years in Autocad 2D I always started on the origin. Took me ages to find this post. Such as simple solution (not selecting the origin) but not very obvious coming from other Autodesk software🧐.
