I have problem to combine more then two componets to one part!

Two components is greate, but when I have more components it´s not possible?

Image 1: I have 270 small boxes.

Image2: I want to combine the large box in the center to all of the small boxes, so I can make an emty center. Then I do not have to 3D print the middle of the piece. It would be like an upside down shoebox.

Hello @Anonymous

Thanks for posting. The combine command (specially with join operation) can combine more than 2 "bodies" at a time. 1 target body and many tool body with join operation will do the thing nicely. Well, you can still select 2 components though. But this command is based on Bodies.

But here you have so many "components" which are consisted with single body in each.

So, you may face selection problem. The ideal way to do this was to have each of these elements as bodies. Still, you can convert the components to body by draging all the bodies into one single components. But will consume so much time.

So I suggest you to redesign the part as single component but so many bodies. Then you can do everything naturally. Also 3d print it.

Tanks!

It was the solution to combine "Bodies" and not Componets" !

(maybe it was a bug? because now I do not find the alternative to combine components! )

Should also be said that I am a beginner in Fusion 360 🙂

And it worked to select att pieces (components) with the arrow, so it went fast.

Now it´s perfect to print in 3D.
