Hello all,

When zooming into the center of the sketch I find some sort of markers that are all not at the 0,0 origin of the drawing. What's wrong there? I assume it will have negative outcome for the part? And how to fix it?

I refer to the markers pointed by the red arrows below.

Design is attached.

Thanks,

Gert

... I assume it will have negative outcome for the part?

Maybe/probably, depends on your expectations for accuracy.

And how to fix it? (Start over, using efficient sketching techniques,)

The white points in that area are Arc centre points.

Looking in from here they "should?" be concentrically aligned to the origin point

Should be fixed by selecting them, making them coincident to the origin point, but some are projected so they have to be moved in sketch 1 and not the second sketch.

Sketch 1 is no better, has some white points around centre, and overlaying to boot.

Some efficient sketching techniques -

Avoid imported sketches Fusion stripped out dimensions and constraints.

Constrain articles as and when created

For your colour scheme and as applied to this object, all articles should be black or purple when sketch is "Finished" and Sketch Icon in Browser has the red pin (Fully constrained). You have some of these because the sketches are empty. Sketch 15 is pinned but, does have the transferred inaccuracies because the body has been projected.

Avoid sketch patterns. (includes mirroring)

Avoid sketch fillets.

Blue, orange and white articles should keep you awake at night.

Might help....
