The error you are seeing has been around for quite awhile. Autodesk does not maintain the Fusion 360 Web version as often as you may desire. I would suggest to you that even if it worked, it is not a very good tool to corroborate with others. Depending on the Fusion 360 license your group is using, sharing projects or the use of a Team environment is a much better choice. Using these methods will allow all to use the full editing power of Fusion 360. If you group members are using Personal Fusion 360 license, this method will not work as a personal use license can only read a shared design.

I'm testing the functionality of Fusion 360 to open and edit the files on the web browser, to me this is an important feature because of the social distance and the need to integrate different users on the same project.

The problem is that I cannot open the files created on my computer, although I can create new files on the Web based version and then download to my computer.

I am currently running the Fusion 360 version 2.0.8809, and trying to open on the Google Chrome browser, following is an image of the error message:

My currently impression is that this is an error on the part of the Autodesk server, and I’m not sure if this feature is still available, is anyone facing the same problem?
Thank you.

Just to add an update, the problem is also occurring in the Microsoft Edge browser, I think that this confirms that the error is caused by the Autodesk Server. Has anyone also encountered this error?

So there is no solution for this problem? And even though Autodesk has been pushing Fusion 360 a lot they don’t care enough to update the version running on the web? This feels like a major disappointment, as the Web version could allow for me to open and visualize the files on my home computer, without the need to install the full version.
Anyway, I thank you for your reply.
Best regards.

Sure there is a solution, after awhile Autodesk will update the web version and current files can be read but probably you will create a new file and it will not read it. You can always visualize your files using the A360 viewer.

Thank you for linking me to the Autodesk Viewer, I wasn't aware of this service.

Although it is a good solution it does not provide the same functionality as the Web based Fusion 360, as it is directly connected to the full software, and also allow some modification beyond the review of the design.
I find it really frustrating that Autodesk is not maintaining the Web based Fusion 360, as it could be an excellent contender to the Onshape CAD, with the weight of the Autodesk brand.
