The font rendering is terrible, and the controls are basic at best .

There's zero kerning control, line-width control absent

I use fusion daily in my work (Custom Fab Sign Shop) and I always use a different program outside of fusion to create my text to export as a dxf, because you know Art matters to the client.

However, I had a need to create text in fusion that needed to be managed within fusion, I thought it would be a relatively easy task, wrong.

I cant even use he text fusion generates in my profiles to machine.

This should be considered unacceptable for a program as developed as his one is.

The very distinct and hard points on a curve, each one of those segments creates a hard point in a machined part as seen in the attached photo.

This is not some weird or non standard font, its Arial set bold, that's it.

The other two screenshots are out of Enroute, it handles fonts correctly, if I used the ones out of fusion, I'd be sanding for a very long time, and lose the fit and finish that was designed into the product.

As it stands now, the font rendering out of fusion is completely unusable.

1. I have to go back to creating my project in fusion sans the text

2. Export out the guide profiles I need as reference geometry as a dxf file

3. Import that dxf into Enroute

4. Create my text in Enroute

5. Export a new file from Enroute

6. Re-import that exported file back into fusion

7. Then try and align and constrain the imported geometry

Then hope everything works out, if not repeat until it works.

This fails on so many levels!
