Parametric Quantity in Pattern breaks down

Hi, I created a parameter to have the quantity of pieces I needed for a booth. I found out how to convert from inches into pieces and round to whole numbers. That part seems to work fine. When I go to pattern the pieces through the booth, there seems to be an error in the math. I need the total number of pieces less two (the ends are different so not included in the calculation). For some reason the math works out except when the booth is between 73 and 86 in long. Then I get 6-2=3. I think I may try to adjust the user parameter to do the math rather than the pattern sequence do the math. Just thought this was odd and hopefully someone can shed some light or figure out the bug.

Thanks!

I tried creating a new user parameter to do the math of subtracting 2. Then I put that parameter into the quantity field of the pattern and it won't accept it. It also won't take the original parameter I had nor the equation (Parts_Seat_Qty - 2) that I just had in there. They all come up as red. I've used the same process for other parts (without the equation in the quantity field) and it works fine. Not sure why this one is giving me problems.

After more testing there seems to be some kind of transfer error. The d116 value reads the parameter Parts_Seat_Qty as 5 instead of 6 for Booth_Width values between 73 and 86. I just created a new parameter to calculate the number of seat centers (to differentiate from the end pieces) and converted that into a unitless parameter. When I change the equation through Modify>Change parameters it reads the 4 as a 3. Only in that range of booth widths. All other values I have entered, give me the correct value. I'm attaching two screen shots of the parametric values. The top part shows the value of Part_Seat_Center changing from 4 to 3. The bottom shows it staying at 2 in both places.
