Hello,

Since the latest update, several features have stopped working.

In addition to long-standing bugs, like the broken timeline where objects disappear and only reappear when going back and forth, there are new issues with T-splines.

When I attempt to join two faces with a loft, the result is curved instead of a straight line, eventhough the setting is "connected". The setting "tangential edges" at the bottom of the window doesn't seem to have an effect at all. I haven’t found a workaround, and chamfering doesn’t work for this shape. In the previous version, everything worked as expected as you can see in the first picture.

Before the updateAfter the update

Another issue is exporting objects to 3D slicers. I can only send an object to a slicer (Bambu Studio) if the slicer was closed beforehand, which forces it to open a new document. After that, I can't add more objects to the same file. My current workaround is exporting each object to .stl and then manually importing them into the slicer, which is time-consuming. This used to work flawlessly before the update.

Please roll back the previous version, as the new one seems inadequately tested and has made the software unusable. The T-spline issues are especially problematic, as the shapes it produces can’t be printed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi,

I had the f3z in datapanel, but didn't start the project because I didn't want to run the risk of getting garbage data (non-deletable linked files).
But my guess from the thumbnails and the screenshots is that the modified offset tool might have something to do with it.
When offsetting sketches, there is now an option “Topologie anpassen" which prevents the offset contour from causing interference (e.g. self-intersections).

If this option is deactivated, the offset is carried out even if it cannot be created without errors.
Such errors are often caused by imperfections in the original profile.

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, I can't modify the original profile since it's an imported .dat file for airfoils. That said, I’ve never had issues in the past using this technique in other projects, and even this profile worked fine in the previous version of Fusion.

As for "Topologie anpassen," it doesn't seem to function properly. I can’t press the "OK" button when it's selected.

It seems the recent update is causing the issue, and I'm still hoping it gets fixed soon, as it's preventing me from making the necessary changes to my project.

Regardless, I appreciate your help!

Hi,

@Repoleved schrieb:

If this is the case, it shows that the offset in the desired size no longer corresponds to that of the original profile.
If you deactivate this option, the offset is created, but the topology is no longer identical to the original curve.
Perhaps @wersy can say something about the ”nature ” of DAT Profile in Lofts.
