One of my employees is used to work with Fusion 360.

But my company does not allow any type of cloud storage.

Is there an alternative which does 2D/3D design and thermal simulations?

I read your support data about cloud being perfectly safe.

But that will not change our companies policy not to allow it.

Sure, you could use Autodesk Inventor Nastran.

https://www.autodesk.com/products/inventor-nastran/overview

Some more information.

Sounds like a good solution, but it can only be bought as part of the product design and manufacturing collection.

Which includes... Fusion 360.

Back to our control officer I guess.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, but it also includes Autodesk Inventor, which is a non-cloud based CAD solution.

I didn't realize it was bundled. An easy solution is just don't install Fusion 360 and block any URLs unique to Fusion 360 in case one of your users decides to go rogue.
