I'm having this issue where a particular view (front/back) has unacceptable geometry. Some of the lines seem to be out of place. It does not appear to be a graphic issue as I cannot even dimension the radii correctly. When I drag the view, you can see that the lines "fix" themselves, but as soon as I let go, the lines go out of place again.

I tried inserting the same view into a new drawing and it looks fine.

I am updating a drawing sheet that I started in December 2019, so I'm not sure if there are some weird bugs due to some compatibility issue with versions.

If there is no resolution to this I will have to remake the drawing from scratch...

Pictures may define what you are seeing but do not allow the forum users to troubleshoot your issues. Please attach your model. If you do not know how, open it in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save it to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

You can also share a link to your A360 file which may be easier since it is a drawing.

Yes I see what you mean. The Tangent Edges option for drawing views seems not to be complete. It seems to using the Shortened option when you do not want it to.

I am having this same issue. Was your issue ever resolved? It is like the edges of some objects become "detached" from the body of the solid. It is very strange. If I insert the exact same view from the animation story board into a new drawing there is no issue at all. It just happens in my original drawing where I currently have about 16 sheets. Hopefully I don't have to recreate the whole drawing set. This would be very frustrating as I have put in many hours into this project.

No, this was never resolved for me.

I found that this also happened in section cut views. It helped by choosing the "slice" option so that you can only see the intersected geometry, but it's not a perfect solution by any means.

Not sure how something like this is happening now. This is a such a fundamental issue on what is a fairly developed CAD software.

Running into basic shortcomings like this is steadily pushing me further away from Fusion 360. This is absolutely unacceptable for those using CAD in a professional environment.

I think I know what causes the issue and I have been able to work around it as long as I don't change the base view. This was primarily happing on an views created from an animation storyboard. If I initially insert a view from the story board everything is fine. Then if I decide to change/edit any of the transformed positions within the storyline this in when it breaks the view within the drawing environment. If this happens I need to delete the drawing view, shut down fusion 360, re-start and then place the view again. So the (not so quick) fix is to not edit the storyboard view transformations at all. Not the best fix but for now it is working until Autodesk can fix the issue.

I have never used the storyboard feature myself. All the drawings I've done were derived directly from the design workspace.
