Text dialogue box not updating

Hi all,

I've was wanting to try some of Fusion's additions to the text tool today, but immediately ran into issues when creating text. In a sketch I can select text, and I can toggle between Text and Text on Path. Text on Path works as expected, but I can't seem to create standard text. In Text, I select two points to create the bounding box, but the dialogue doesn't seem to update with fields to add text and make adjustments, like I see in tutorials. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug with Fusion?

Please follow the Screencast to reset your Text dialog box. Be sure to left-click drag the dialog box until you see the green line, then let go of the left mouse button. I hope this helps, if not then I would possibly consider doing a Manual Clean Uninstall and the reinstall of Fusion 360.

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, moving the dialogue box didn't seem to help. For now, it seems to be working okay to use Line on Path tool (which for some reason updates the dialogue fine) with a straight line, but if it becomes an issue I'll try to do a manual clean uninstall.

Hi,

Try a new file or restart Fusion or the computer before you think of the uninstall.
In most cases the uninstall also works with the AUTOMATIC VERSION
