Tool presets in Fusion CAM

Hi.

I want to ask, is there any oprion to turn on toole presets in tool library.

i'm using Inventor HSM, and there I have tool presets.

I can't move from HSM to Fusion 360 because, I have a lot of recipes in those presets.

The development team is working hard on bringing Feed/Speed Presets into Fusion. There is some beginning work that's available to test out that's behind a Feature Flag, but I'll caution you about it's viability. What they have in the pipeline is quite exciting to see!

Go up to the File and turn on "Show Text Commands"
Set to "Txt" (the default is "Py" I believe)
type in "cam.f" in the text box and hit the enter key on the keyboard.
That's it, the new functions are now available for testing!

I checked this new inteface.

In Inventor new Tool Library has more usefull parameter in presets (especialy stepovers and milling depths). Also tool browser gives more information about tool. Unfortunately for me, new Fusion browser isn't transparent to easily pick tool. New tool libray in Inventor (from feature flags) is ideal in my opinion.

Is there a beta forumto join, where we can follow the project?

Admittedly, what we have currently in Fusion is lacking. I did warn you about that 😉

At present there is no mechanism for feedback on current or future projects, but that is something we are aware of and looking for the right sort of balance. Stay tuned 😉

Hello,

Do you have plans to bring tool presets within Inventor CAM (Autodesk Inventor CAM) using same principle of work as the tool presets on Fusion?

I am Autodesk Inventor User. We have introduced Inventor CAM early on and enjoy the streamline from design to CAM (we manufacture on our machines). While experimenting on Fusion we discovered the tools presets which solved an issue of using the same tool for different operations and modes of cuts (slots, side engage, adaptative). The operators really like the tools presets on Fusion, but I would loose the streamline workflow of all within Inventor.

I don't believe there are any plans to bring this technology into Inventor, sorry to say..
