I've heard some reports of people not being able to copy/paste, but I've not been able to replicate that behavior. Any chance you could capture that in a ScreenCast?

Hello Forum,

I just had an instance where I could not copy and past a 2D Adaptive op to a different file? I created a set of soft jaws for a job, machined it to check it would fit the part. Then I flipped the soft jaws drawing, did my stock set up but I could not copy and paste the 3 machining ops to make the second half/part? Same tool #s, same stock size, same 0,0 original location. It was only after I made a new 2D Adaptive op on the mirrored part could I copy and past from the 1st part? Is this normal?

I just ran into the same problem. I tried to copy two operations from one project to another and it does not work (no Paste option when I right click on the target Setup). However, if I select only one operation then I can paste it at destination without problems.

OK, Great. Now I know how to do it!

I will try as soon as I can. Got the soft jaws machined and machined the magneto base that this whole issue came from! The magneto was repaired by someone else but they neglected to machine any mounting holes!

Hi all -

Turns out that there's been a longstanding problem in this area, which randomly rejects cross-document copy/paste.

It's not related to how many objects are selected, but the more you have, the more likely it is to encounter the issue.

We're tracking this as CAM-19221, and will have a fix for that in place in an upcoming update.

Thanks for reporting it.

 Jeff
