Deburr: trouble to control 5-axis chamfering

Hello,

I often need to obtain tool paths like the one below, but somehow I don't understand how to get the orientation right. Also, it seems, that climb and conventional cutting are doing exactly opposite.

This is the tool path I need:

And these are the results I'm getting, when doing slightly different part:

Can somebody help to understand how to get it right?

I'm able to share files privately only.

The only way I found so far is to copy model, delete modeled chamfer and use this model for deburring and add chamfer width in deburring operation, but is there a way to make it right with a modeled chamfer as well?

Deburr is primarily designed for machining unmodeled chamfers, basically to break edges.

To machine a modelled chamfer like that you can use swarf/advanced swarf

@a.laasW8M6T Thanks for explaining, I'll keep that in mind.

I have some more questions about the 'Debur' operation:

For the same example, why do I need to choose "conventional" cutting to make the cutter move in the "climb" direction as on the picture?

And another one:

When deburing with ball mill, the "unreachable corners" parameter seems to be doing exactly opposite of what you select in operation. Or do I understand this parameter wrongly?

The Climb/Conventional thing may be a Bug I'm not really sure.

The Do not deburr setting will normally miss stuff it can't reach but in a Recent Update there was also added the Allow partial cuts checkbox which may be affecting the behavior there.
