In-Process Stock Generation stopped working.

As the title says.

My model was made in Solidworks. I updated it and brought it into Fusion. I then regenerated all the toolpaths however it will not regenerate my stock model. The very first operation has a stock model but all subsequent ones are not present.

I've tried turning it on and off in the top bar. Restarting Fusion. Turning it on and off in the preview menu.

I have another file I was working on and updated the Solidworks model at the same time and this is working fine.

Any suggestions on how to get my stock model working again?

I continued playing around and saw a new option in the Preview Features. "In Process Stock - Mesh Check Safety" enabling this seems to fix the problem.

Can anyone shed any light onto why I need this enabled?

It has a performance warning too so I'd prefer it not to be enabled if possible.
