Tool library won't open properly

Hi all,

I've seen some posts alluding to this, but not exactly my issue, so I apologize if this has been answered.

I haven't use the manufacturing module in a couple of months, and when I went in today to create som milling tool paths I ran into the following problem:

When I click on the tool library (either from the the tool path dialog box or from the top tool bar) the tool library window open, but just as a grey box. No menus or anything. Like this:

I opened Fusion on an older laptop (had to update Fusion with an installer file) and had the exact same issue.

Any ideas?

Running Win10 ver2004

Fusion360 ver.2.0.10356

F360 running in Administrator mode (university pc, I have no choice) but this hasn't been an issue before

Any help would be greatly appreciated

@mikael.omlid This doesn't seem like the same issue. Are you using the new library? Can you revert back to old one through preferences to see if the behaviour is still the same?

That did the trick, but I really don't understand why the new tool library has stopped working?

I can live with the old one, but would be nice know.

No, the error comes back when I turn it on again in preferences. Thanks for creating a ticket for this, would love to see it resolved.

Hi @mikael.omlid,

We'd love to help figure this out, but we need some more information.

Could you please try the following steps:

Open the Text Command window in Fusion by pressing Ctrl+Alt+C
In the command box, enter QTWebBrowser.Display chrome://gpu and press Enter
You should see a diagnostics page. Please copy the contents of that page here.

Hi Chris!

I'm really sorry I haven't followed up on this issue, but I haven't had any CAM projects lately and it completely slipped my mind.

I just checked now, and the issue persists. I can access the old library by turning the new one off in preferences, but the new library still shows up as a grayed out box.

@mikael.omlid In that case could you follow the steps outlined by @paul.courts and let me know the results please?

Could you please try the following steps:

Open the Text Command window in Fusion by pressing Ctrl+Alt+C

@mikael.omlid after speaking to the team this looks like a wider issue than the tool library. I will seek advice.

In the meantime could you send me the graphics diagnostics to ensure I have attached the correct one to the ticket.

Click the Help ? in the top right of Fusion.
