Post process WITHOUT R, I, or K Lathe turning on mach3

Mach 3 doesn't appear to be interpreting the R, I, or K properly

I don't need R, I, or K to turn a part

Realy wish I could turn off all circular interpolations and just get point to point!

If you have any fillets/arcs then you do need the I/K or the R. As in the image below.

If you don`t need any of this and are only doing simple Outer/Inner Profiles etc then you can use the Mach3 Wizards to do the majority of Lathe jobs, they will even do fillets but they do also produce I/K so I am a bit lost with what you are asking for, Mach3 needs either the R or I/K to work correctly yes ??

It is in effect going "Point to Point", it is executing an arc around a given point using a specified Radius, Yes ??

If you have all straight sections and the problem is corner rounding, there is an option to make sharp corners.

Also what's the problem with mach3? Is something as simple as the arc direction needs reversion?

*All good for now:*
I ended up doing the rough turning with the* finish pass turned off * then
did a separate finish pass, that got me a code with no RIK!

*Next Issue:*
The entire program is written in diameter dimensions?

Not sure if I can switch either fusion or mach3 back to radius?

Yes, easy to change from Radius to Diameter, I have always preferred Diameter Mode as what I see in the X axis box is the actual Diameter of the part!

Just go to Gen Config > Ports and Pins > Last Tab > Turning Options and just select as shown in the image below 🙂🙂

Yes, you can also change the Mach3 PP from Radius to Diameter and vice versa by changing the "Scale" as shown in the image below, the line with the // diameter mode at the end where it says "Scale" then if you have a 1 in there you will have Radius Mode and if you want Diameter Mode then put a 2 in there as shown below !!
