This will be my last sample for the deburring toolpath, at least for now.

Again I tried in 3 axis mode (which should work but doesn't) and in 5-axis mode.

3-AXIS MODE:

It did some undercutting for the cross hole sample in my previous thread, so it handles undercuts. But it won't deburr under the part (keep in mind, this is just a sample, it probably would not be practical to do it this way, but I just want to show you some limitations. Sometimes deburring an undercut area is required).

I added a hole now (EDIT). Very handy to be able to deburr under a hole, but it won't do it.

5-AXIS MODE:

In order to make it work, I had to set a tilt angle of at least 46 degrees. Anything below that will not do it. Again, it should be able to do this without any tilt at all. Also, the turns are too abrupt, we should have an option to control the sideways tilt too (or fan distance and max fan angle). It looks cool looking at it on a computer screen, but in the machine, all these sharp turns create big pallet movements that are really less than ideal. For example, the back edge should be able to be done completely without any sideways tilt, but it wants to keep the tool perpendicular to the part. It could do it without tilt, or add another setting for sideways tilt, and we could limit it to whatever we want, making it a lot smoother on the machine. The sharp turns translate in very fast rotation of the pallet on actual machine.

Please investigate these issues, thank you!
