foxalien masuter pro Machine Setup

Hello everyone! I am totally new to CNC work. I purchased a hobbyist CNC from FoxAlien to start learning. I am trying to set up my CNC based on the Generic CNC router XYZ Head. I have watched some videos, but All the videos I have seen so far seem to be out of date. For example, there seems to be no workspace anymore. I am uncertain how to configure this. I did see a post Processor script someone made, but I am not 100% what this is doing. I can tell you that my CNC is a 400x400 and the HOME hoes to the front left corner, -377 -377. This is when I home it with the homing button on the controller box. The spindle speed is controlled on the spindle itself, so all the machine does is turn the spindle on and off. When it comes to the Kinematics for X, Y, Z, HEAD, I am totally lost as to what to set these to.

As for the range, I set it to Limited for both X and Y to Min -400 mm Max 400 mm
Do I set the home position to -377 ? This seem to be where it goes when it is homed. I am getting this from Candle.

For the Rapid Feedrate and the Max Feed rate I am also not sure what to set this to.

For the Z I put MIN -90 mm and MAX 0 mm

Any help would be fantastic.

I feel your pain. I also found the outdated Youtube videos but found that many parameters don't seem to be in my machine configuration. It seems like Fox Alien would provide a machine configuration for uploading.

the post is from last year but if you are still looking for information watch this video from the "le bear cnc" channel. This is an example of configuration for a 3018 pro but the principle is the same for the Masuter. hope this helps you or someone else

I've just set up my FoxAlien Masuter S3 8040, and here's the .much file I created. I can't confirm it works yet since I made it only 13.7 seconds ago.
