What happens when you try to skip to a certain tool? Does the machine just not respond to your request, or does an alarm pop up? Are there certain codes that are only being called at the beginning that really should be on each tool section to allow for this?

so attached i have a picture error

so I loaded the program like normal from what I read been told need to go

eia monitor

then select line to begin tool path then press restart2 nonmodal(line should turn pink if move curse on another line good sign say pick up the line )

position button (take back to the main screen )

then hit start

so then what happens is it goes to pick up the right tool then just stop and gives me the error you see there doesn't move from the tool change position

say soft limit didn't even move to datum or near part

also, u have the post safety start on each operation checked on the post but I have tried within not checked also

also attached post which I had altered to help out more on the cv5 500 machine as a fusion basic post for that machine missing code that makes it read more line code ahead so doesn't look like the machine stop starting on a full 5-axis tool path but seem still need more work also been to scare up updating a alter post incase over right it loses then smoother full 5 sims moving on the machine

couldn't upload program does accept .eia programs

So you're trying to start from the Line 57 right?

Remove those "/" in front of the Lines above and try to run in from Line 50 on. Either you have an Option to Read/Skip those Lines with the "/" in Front or your Control might just skip them probably.

Try to run it without and see if it works.

I guess you are having Alarms because there is no WCS like G55 and no Tool length active that way and your Machine would reach it's Limits.

I have played around and got the program to skip to mid program start

on the post, I had to still select the safe start option / which made no difference as I have block stop turned off so read the code I had to add the g90 g94 g17 at the start of the next tool path but was getting still feed error come up from start on Example (drill).

but when I start it on the tool path before show the highlight below in red text

(2D CONTOUR3)
N1 T7 M6
S5000 M3
G90 G94 G17
G55
G68.2 X0. K-90.
G53.1 P1
/ M8

I also found in the new update post for the vc 500 Mazak post on the fusion library there is no g61.1 in there which let the Mazak controller read ahead in the iso code for smooth 5-axis sim movement as used a new post without change from my one and swarf and 5 axes sim path just look like it jumping as it single ready the next line code this still not been addressed also

just notice the vc 500 post for Mazak has ATTENTION: This post has been deprecated. Use the generic Mazak post instead.

I don't feel safe trying the Mazak general post to try on a 5-axis machine don't mind using it as 3 axis machine but not 5 axis

so if some can take my current post or give me the code to place in my post my self that is already alter so get issue 5 axis sim smoother movement and place some codes in the right place to let Mazak machine not error out

and can add the

G53 G0 Z0.
G53 X0. Y0.

so come out with the safe start option and look like below

(2D CONTOUR3 3)
/ N2 T7 M6
/ S5000 M3
G90 G94 G17
G53 G0 Z0.
G53 X0.
