Does anybody know how well the Matsuura.cps post works out the box for machining. Ive just joined a company with a new MX-520 PC4 with MiOS 4 controller. if its not so good out the box does anyone have a good/relatively full proof post for that machine/controller?

Few programs I've posted have been fine. I use camplete thought to post most of the time now. but before when i posted from this post and ran it through camplete it has been fine.

We've been running an MX-850 for the past 18 months. I'd say it's pretty good out the box. I had to make some minor tweaks but I also fed these back to Autodesk and they've incorporated most of them.

Great, good to know. Do you know if you do probing cycles such as datum sets or features measures work out the box from fusion to matsuura? This had been an issue for me in the past with old DMG's on heidenhain post processors.

It mostly did. We have Renishaw probe on ours the only change I made to the post was to allow WCS datum setting when probing in 3+2. You need to set #151,152,153 =0 before you probe in 3+2 if you are setting the WCS I had to change the post for that. Only needed if you are setting the WCS.
