2D Chamfer Problems

Here's the Setup:

I have a chamfer on each of the 4 holes.

When I go to set up the 2D Chamfer I keep getting these errors:

I've encountered this error before, and I know how to address it - just follow the advice. No problem.
Today, I get this error on that 2D Chamfer, but changing the value doesn't stop the error. so that tells me that Fusion is catching an error, but there is no specific handler in place, so it runs home to momma and puts up what must be the default handler (a sure sign of an overworked dev team). So, no joy.

The question is, what's wrong here? Here are screenshots of the 2D Chamfer config ..

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

There is probably some collision avoidance of some sort going on, your tip offset may be too large for the chamfer your trying to machine

I always use 2D contour for Modelled chamfers, never gives me any troubles.

I only use 2D chamfer for chamfering edges that have no modeled chamfer

My current understanding is that with 2D Chamfer, you have to select the upper Contour of the Chamfer.

I am having problems with Chamfer also, it is not working in the same situations it worked previously. Typical after an "improvement".

The advantage of 2D Chamfer over 2D Contour, as far as I can tell from my current knowledge, is that with 2D Chamfer I have a Chamfer Clearance, which means that obstacles are automatically avoided.

your tip offset + lead ins must equal less then the inner circle of the toolpath that will be created.

IE a .05" tip offset in a 0.100 hole will not work.
Try a tiny tip offset to let it generate then adjust once you have a generated path.
Select the top circle since you decided to model it.
You can still select chamfer size when using 2D Contour (thats what I use 99% of the time)
