New Operation flyout not functioning?

F360U Win7

When I right click on an operation in the tree and select New Operation, and then try to create a new Drill/2D/3D operaton by clicking on the flyout nothing happens. Doing something wrong? or is it non-functional. Searched around but couldn't find any reference to this. Thanks.

Hi Fred -

I just tried this, and it worked fine for me, so it definitely *should* work.

A few questions:

1) Do things work well when you try to add a new operation using the toolbar command buttons?

2) Is it possible that the dialog is just being shown off-screen (e.g., on a now-missing second monitor)?

3) Can you dump your diagnostic logs (from the help menu in the upper right corner), and post them here? Perhaps these will indicate something.

Thanks Jeff,

1) Works fine from the tool bar command buttons

2) Works fine if I RMB in the graphics space and pick from the marking menu

) Relaunched the software and tried RMB on operation in tree, than flyout - still not responding. Do have a second monitor, but nothing showing there.

Since it's working for you, let me play around some more and see what option(s) I may have mis-set.

Jeff,

Some additional info....

If I RMB on the 'Setup' in the tree, the flyout works correctly. But, if I RMB on individual operations and select 'New Operation' then I get no response from the flyout menu.

Fred,

That is a known issue. The New Operation submenu should only be shown when right cliking on Setups/Folders.
