I bouht a 7\16 4 fl EM for this hole, so it will fit in between the choke point. I can't figure out which op to use, I'm sure its something simple im missing. heres a pic of the hole, I attached the file as well. I have the hole pre drilled to remove as much mterial as possible, just need to finish this hole.

Thanks in advance,

heres the link to the file:

http://a360.co/1P0DBJg

when you use a just fit tool you need to adjust the ramp in and outs plus lead in and out's to a very small number some of the other tool paths you tried do work if you adjust ramp and leads

Did you try Ramp.

Just select the top profile and set boundary to inside. might want to set the top height to 0.01 to get a nice start.

using 34 pocket I cant get the tool to open the pocket up to the actual size, its like the "sstock to leave " is left on but its not. ant it just does each hole separatly and does not look like it is goin gto go over the pinch point in the middle of the figure 8 to round it over. At least thats what it looks like in the simulation. . ?>

I just had a thought, 2d contour will produce a far smaller program if your control supports helical cuts. Is it OK to attach a copy of the file to this thread or would you like me to email direct.

I wanted to show an example of a helical cut in another thread and thought the bores in your file would be a good example but when I looked closer I noticed you've use circular ops. Was there a reason for this and have you looked at the bore op as I think it would do a nicer job.
