Sorry if this has been asked/answered but had no luck finding it.

I'm trying to do a bore on the OD of a cylinder after milling it.

I don't want to interpolate the hole, but use a boring bar holder and bore the OD of a cylinder.

How do you do this? I have tried all the options in "drilling" to no success. G76 appears to work in ID boring, but alas, chasing an OD bore on the vertical mill. Any help? Cheers guys!

The fine boring in the drilling operation should work.

I mean you can give in the shift orientation so it doesn't clash. Depending on machine, control and post this might need some tweaking but that should be the way to do it.
