In the Preferences > General >, there's a check box for 'Automatic Version on Close'. If this is disabled, you will not get the version.

Closing without saving?

How do I set up Fusion to not automatically save when closing a tab? Sometimes I have a CAM setup that is running well on the machine, but I want to play "what if" and evaluate different tools, operations, etc in Fusions CAM workspace. Since the existing job is running fine, I don't want to overwrite it and lose the "working" setup while playing around. I know the easy answer is to copy the file and mess around with the copy, but sometimes I forget to do this, and start messing with my "good" file. In other programs, I can just close the tab/window, and a pop-up dialog box will ask if I want to save my changes or discard them. Fusion sems to be a little rude here, and just saves the new data without asking.
