I was just trying to complete the same kind of tool path and found that using Flow you have the option to spiral feed at a constant depth around the part. I know this is an old post but I felt compelled to respond.

How do I spiral down in a contour operation?

I feel like we should be able to spiral by processing either the depth (spiral down in z) or width (spiral x&y).

What am I missing?

You have the Ramping option, but that does take the entire toolpath into account and stretches it out across that distance.

What exactly are you trying to workaround, plunging into material?

I am just trying to spiral down as a machining strategy on a contour.

I wasn't looking for an entry option.

I have a license of Esprit as my CAM. I was just playing around with fusion CAM.

I dont guess it is fair to compare a $30K CAM software to fusion in terms of options and functionality.

Back to the spiral operation- It is nice to be able to continuously spiral into the workpiece on contour opps in width or depth.

I'm no stranger to Esprit, I've used it quite a bit at my day job.

After becoming quite comfortable with Fusion, I don't think I've ever looked at Esprit and said "man, I wish I had that for personal use" Esprit is very good CAM, no doubt. Just have fun making model changes.....

I find that Fusion does lack in some areas, but there are quick workarounds to get what you want. Multiple Depth passes in conjunction with Ramp gives you something close to what you are looking for, but really just not worth it with what other options are there.
