Slot Tool Path Help

I have these louvers that I need to machine slots at 30 degrees. I made a jig to hold them there but when I try to do the tool path for the slots it raises to the full height to start the cut and it takes forever!

Help please!

Set your Top Height to be your Bottom Height, but with a 31mm positive offset. Result:

With your original settings, "Top Height" for you was set to "Model Top". In this case, your part was tipped at an angle, and your Z axis was pointed up, not along the angle. So, you end up with an envelope that looks like this:

So, with that setting, it was starting the tool off up there.

Another tip; assuming you're going with slabs of plastic already milled to thickness, I'd suggest creating a solid model to represent your Stock and selecting "From Solid" in your Setup. Result:
