Cam for a yoyo cup

I'm trying to set up the cam for the inside turned cup of a yoyo that does not have a hole all the way through it, how do I set this up to remove all the material from the cup. I tried to drill to the bottom of the cup and then use a boring bar but it won't let me use the drill, Please help this poor rookie.

It would really help if you attached your file here. Go to File -> Export and save as a .F3D Archive File and attach it to your next post.

here is the file you asked about, really need help on this, if you can
just show me the best way to do the CAM for this yoyo I can probably use it
for all in the future. thank you so much for your help.

Luckily your issue here is pretty simple. Since there is no Z axis selected in the Setup the CAM gets confused when trying to use a drill (I don't know why it's only with drilling, but it is what it is for now). Once you select a face to create the Z axis orientation it fixes itself (you'll need to change the Stock a little though):

how do I select a z axis in set up , all I see is flip z axis and when I do that it moves everything to the back of the stock and then I cant work on the cup side , how do I flip the work piece to make this work or if someone could just change all the settings to what they need to be to completely machine this part and send to me I could study it to get my answers . once I see it work one time I will be good.

In my screenshot it is the blue surface. I attached a .F3D file of your part in my previous post. You can open it by going to File -> New Design From File and selecting the downloaded temp.f3d
